About Scolmore Middle East
Following six successful years in the Middle East, Scolmore Group opened a head office and warehouse facility in Dubai.
Scolmore Middle East is located in the heart of Dubai in the Business Bay area.
The company employs a number of sales managers, as well as office and admin support staff.
The warehouse facility of Scolmore Middle East, operating as Scolmore International Middle East Free Zone Establishment (FZE) is located about 10 miles outside of Dubai in the Free Zone area. From this prime location, Scolmore Middle East can stock and distribute its comprehensive range of products more quickly to its customers, which include major distributors, construction clients, hotels and smaller end users.
We also have another warehouse facility in Ras-Al Khor. With a capacity to hold in excess of 2 million AED worth of stock, it will allow the company to provide a same day/next day delivery service on all stocked items – Click Wiring Accessories, Ovia Lighting and ESP Emergency Lighting – across all of the UAE including Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah. The location of the warehouse facility in Ras-Al Khor makes it ideal for local deliveries and its proximity to all the main highways means the company can deliver quickly and within its promised timelines.
“We have already had considerable success to date with our UK-manufactured range of products in the countries we work with across the Middle East – Oman, Bahrain, UAE including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait. However, we expect to significantly increase our business across this region over the next 2 or 3 years. This dedicated warehouse facility will allow us to dramatically cut down on the time it takes to get products out to our customers. With the ability to hold and distribute high stock levels, we will be in a position to fulfil the requirements of a growing customer base.”
In addition to products from across Scolmore’s range of wiring accessories, a range manufactured at the Sangamo factory in Scotland has been designed specifically for the Middle East market. The Click Seera range is a comprehensive collection of wiring accessories manufactured from Polycarbonate. It has been developed to meet the demand – predominately in the Middle-East – for a competitive, cost-effective range that offers all the style and quality of Scolmore’s Mode range, but at a more competitive price point.
Scolmore Middle East also supplies products from across Scolmore’s extensive lighting range, including all the Inceptor integrated downlights, as well as emergency lighting solutions from group company, ESP.
